The Challenge
Create and launch a new continental investment platform capable of redefining Africa’s global investment narrative—moving from aid and perception to bankable, deal-driven opportunities—while establishing instant credibility with heads of state, investors, DFIs, and global partners.
Our Role
As part of the African Development Bank’s Communication and External Relations function, Baton Rouge Group’s leadership played a central role in the creation, branding, and communication architecture of the Africa Investment Forum.
We were directly involved in the design of the AIF logo, the full brand ecosystem, and the strategic storytelling framework that shaped the Forum’s identity from inception.

The Work

Designed the Africa Investment Forum (AIF) logo, ensuring institutional credibility and global relevance

Built the complete brand ecosystem, including visual identity, tone of voice, and brand usage principles

Developed the strategic narrative positioning AIF as a deal-room rather than a traditional conference

Provided creative direction and editorial guidance across all key communication materials

Ensured coherence across investor messaging, government communications, and partner-facing assets

Supported the event communication strategy for the inaugural edition at Sandton Convention Centre
